One of the key elements in Reform Judaism is that we need to make personal religious decisions on both belief and practice. To do that effectively we need to know what we are doing. That's​ why Torah study is so important in Reform Judaism.

Fortunately we at the Springhill Avenue Temple have a number of avenues for pursuing religious study. The oldest is our Wednesday night group which meets every week from 5:30 to 6:45. We're currently working on my collection A Life of Meaning and going through some of the key issues facing Reform Judaism today.

In addition, we have just started an informal study group to look at angels from all perspectives which Meats at Satori's Cafe on Thursday mornings at 10 a.m. every other week until about 11:30. We are using the book by Morris Margolis a gathering of angels. That is us hard at work in the cafe:
