Praying with Rabbi Milton Grafman's Black Rabbinic Robe In Alabama

Temple president Michael Pereira is to the left. We are in the chapel which had a small ark with a single Torah. This photo was taken by my friend Shirley Boyd who brought my dog Lily from Alabama to Arizona 5 years ago. The photo was taken shortly before that.

Rabbi Milton Grafman's daughter Ruth gave me her father's robes many years ago. Rabbi Grafman was a distinguished leader of the Reform Jewish community in Birmingham Alabama for many years.
