Massive Demonstration for Freedom of Captives

Saturday night demonstration for the freeing of hostages and against the government. The demonstrators were right in front of the hotel.

The picture below shows a man holding a sign with Ron Arad on it. He was a navigator shot down in Lebanon and negotiations failed and the terrorists killed him. The person holding the sign is basically saying that if you don't negotiate quickly, the terrorists will kill the hostages. 

The next picture shows a man with a t-shirt with the words Kaplan Street on it. Although we're on Menachem Begin Street, it leads into Kaplan Street which is where most of the demonstrations have been so Kaplan Street is a symbol of the resistance to the government.
