Amit and four of his friends planned months ahead of time to go to this music festival at Nova. Amit and three friends drove together and another friend came separately with his wife and the couple unfortunately were killed.
What saved him and his three friends was that his wife said to take the Subaru which is 4x4 drive instead of his friends normal car. This allowed them to drive over very rough terrain when about 100 cars were waiting to exit the parking lot and then they were all shot by the terrorists and then the cars in the front with the dead people in them were blocking everybody else so no one could drive off.
