Yesterday, the students took part in our Purim service together with the adults. Jamie Novetsky put together a wonderful skit (Motown Purimoke) together with Barry Silverman, Seth Cherniak and Charmein Moser.
Queen Vashti got in big trouble!
The students were all dressed up as biblical figures, with the beautiful costumes made by Ellen Carter. They were dancing with graggers on the stage and were very happy.
We had a team of bakers and they made delicious hamentashen with all kinds of fillings. Sarah did a great job reading on the Bimah and it seems like everyone had a wonderful time.
