Sukkot At the Springhill Avenue Temple
We had a wonderful Sukkot celebration, including lulavim and estrogim as well as a great chag dinner with hot dogs and all the trimmings!
Here is our outdoor sukkah with 4 people benching lulav and estog in front of it.
In the Book of Exodus, it is explained that there is an agricultural background to Sukkot. The "Feast of Ingathering at the year's end" (Exodus 34:22) marks the end of the harvest time. In the Book of Leviticus, it gives another reason, which is to commemorate the Exodus(Leviticus 23:42-43).
Seth C. is playing guitar to the right.
We have enthusiasm, you have to give us that. Musical ability? Well, that might be a stretch!
